The 2026 1/10 oz Vienna Philharmonic Gold Coin is a world-renowned investment gold coin produced by the Austrian Mint (Münze Österreich). The coin is struck from 99.99% pure gold and contains 1/10 troy ounce, or 3.11 grams, of pure gold. It has a face value of 10 euros and a diameter of 16 mm.
The coin’s design is dedicated to the world-famous Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and was created by Austrian Mint engraver Thomas Pesendorfer. The obverse features the famous pipe organ in the Golden Hall of the Vienna Musikverein, together with the coin’s weight, gold purity, face value and the year of issue 2026.
The reverse depicts an ensemble of musical instruments associated with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, including a cello, violins, Vienna horn, bassoon and harp. Its classic design has made the Vienna Philharmonic one of Europe’s most recognisable investment gold coins.
The Vienna Philharmonic Gold Coin combines the high quality of the Austrian Mint, 999.9 gold purity and an internationally recognised design. Thanks to its worldwide recognition and strong secondary market demand, it is a liquid form of investment gold suitable for both experienced investors and those making their first investment in physical gold.
The smaller 1/10 oz format makes it possible to invest in physical gold with a lower initial amount and also makes the coin an excellent choice as a valuable gift.
